Privacy

A small site with no analytics or account system.

What stays in your browser

Note titles, text, dates, and pins are kept in localStorage under the Riverdesk key. The active note selection is local too. Import reads the file you select in your browser; export creates a download on your device. Notes and backup files are not uploaded.

Local storage is not encrypted by this application. Anyone with access to this browser profile may be able to read the notes. Avoid storing passwords, payment information, or other secrets.

Hosting and requests

Your browser requests the page and its local images, stylesheet, and JavaScript from the same site. The hosting server may process normal connection information, such as an IP address, requested path, and browser headers, to deliver those files. This static application does not access or control hosting logs, and makes no claim about their retention.

There are no external font, image, or script requests on page load. Source and license addresses on the About page are text references, not embedded third-party content.

Your controls

Delete a note with the trash control and confirm the title in the dialog. Export a backup before clearing site data. Deleting all browser site data removes the local collection; it cannot be recovered by a support team.

There is no backend to receive deletion requests, synchronize data, or restore a lost local collection.
